What Guruji needs from you

Six things, one message.

Send these on WhatsApp and Guruji reads the Kundali free. That reading decides whether the pooja is needed at all, and which of the 12 types it is.

01

Full name

Of each person the puja is for. Couples usually sit together, so send both names.

02

Date of birth

Day, month and year — as on your birth record.

03

Time of birth

As exact as you know it. If unsure, say so; Guruji works with what you have.

04

Place of birth

Town or city and state. It fixes the chart's ascendant.

05

Gotra, if known

Used in the sankalp. Not a problem if you do not know it.

06

What is troubling you

A line or two. It helps Guruji read the chart with your question in mind.

How to reach Trimbakeshwar

28 km from Nashik, at the foot of Brahmagiri.

Trimbak is a small temple town in Nashik district, Maharashtra. Distances are approximate; Guruji can suggest a reliable taxi from any of these.

Directions on Google Maps

नाशिक · From Nashik city

About 28 km, 45 minutes to an hour by taxi or auto. State transport buses run all day from the Nashik CBS bus stand to Trimbak.

रेल · By train

Nashik Road is the nearest railway station, about 36 km away, on the Mumbai–Bhusawal line. Taxis and buses to Trimbak are available outside.

मुंबई · From Mumbai

About 180 km, four to five hours by road via the Mumbai–Nashik highway. Overnight travellers usually leave in the evening and sleep in Trimbak.

पुणे · From Pune

About 210 km, five to six hours by road via Sangamner and Nashik.

विमान · By air

Nashik (Ozar) airport is about 50 km away with limited flights; Mumbai airport, about 200 km, has the most connections. Guruji can suggest a reliable taxi.

शिर्डी · From Shirdi

About 120 km, three hours. Many families combine Shirdi darshan with the puja at Trimbakeshwar.

Where to stay, what to wear

Arrive the evening before.

The pooja begins early, after the holy bath. A night in Trimbak makes the morning calm.

Staying in Trimbak

  • Dharamshalas, lodges and hotels within walking distance of the temple; most are simple and clean.
  • Nashik city, 28 km away, has every class of hotel if you prefer to drive in early.
  • Ask Guruji on the call — he will point you to somewhere close to the puja hall.
  • Eat a simple vegetarian meal the night before. No alcohol or tobacco from the day before until the pooja is complete.

What to wear and bring

  • New clothes: a white dhoti and upper cloth for men, a saree for women. Avoid black.
  • Your family — married couples traditionally sit together for the pooja.
  • The birth details you sent, in case Guruji needs to confirm them for the sankalp.
  • Nothing else: the samagri — naag pratima, kalash, havan material, flowers — is arranged by Guruji.

How the morning goes

From the holy bath to the aarti.

One morning, about three to four hours of pooja. Guruji explains each step as it happens, in Hindi, Marathi or English.

The full vidhi, step by step
  1. Evening before

Reach Trimbak, rest, eat a simple vegetarian meal. Guruji confirms the morning's time on the phone.

  2. Early morning

Holy bath at Kushavarta Kund, the source of the Godavari, and darshan at the Jyotirlinga if the queue allows.

  3. The puja

Sankalp, Ganesh pujan, kalash sthapana, Rahu–Ketu shanti, naag pujan, mantra jaap, havan and aarti — about three to four hours. Guruji explains each step.

  4. After

Visarjan of the naag pratima, prasad, and Guruji's guidance on what to keep doing. Most families return home the same day.

Booking & travel — questions

Asked, answered.

०१

Is Kaal Sarp Pooja the same as Kaal Sarp Puja?

Yes. Pooja and puja are two English spellings of the Hindi पूजा. Kaal Sarp Pooja, Kalsarp Puja, Kaal Sarp Yog Shanti and Kaal Sarp Dosh Nivaran Puja all mean the shanti ritual performed at Trimbakeshwar.

०२

How do I book Kaal Sarp Pooja at Trimbakeshwar?

Call or WhatsApp +91 77679 85045 any time. Send the birth details of everyone the puja is for; Guruji reads the Kundali free, confirms the dosh and its type, fixes the muhurat with you and tells you what to bring. There is no form, no advance payment and no agent.

०३

How many days do I need in Trimbakeshwar?

One morning for the puja itself. Arrive the evening before if you can, since the puja begins early after the holy bath. Charts that need Narayan Nagbali as well take three days — Guruji tells you in advance.

०४

Can I come the same day from Nashik or Mumbai?

From Nashik, yes — leave by 6 am. From Mumbai or Pune it is possible but tiring; most families travel the evening before and stay in Trimbak.

०५

What should I wear and bring?

New clothes: a white dhoti and upper cloth for men, a saree for women; avoid black. Bring the birth details and your family. You do not need to buy samagri — Guruji arranges everything.

०६

What does the pooja cost?

Guruji tells each family the dakshina and the samagri arrangements on the call, after the free Kundali check, so there are no surprises on the day. The site publishes no rates because the vidhi depends on the chart.

०७

Can the pooja be done if I cannot travel?

Yes. Guruji performs the Kaal Sarp shanti at Trimbakeshwar with your sankalp while you join live on a video call, and sends prasad to your address.

०८

Where do I stay in Trimbakeshwar?

Trimbak has dharamshalas, lodges and hotels within walking distance of the temple, and Nashik city has every kind of hotel 28 km away. Ask Guruji on the call — he will suggest something clean and close to the puja hall.
